Hello, everyone! My name is Maciej Szymczak. I'm an amateur photographer. I became a conscious photographer back in 1997 but I haven't unlock any specialization yet. I photograph everything that inspires me, moves me and makes me feel. I don't like hiding in the darkroom. Therefore I try to edit photos as little as possible which makes me stick to each and every shot I take. I photograph with a variety of gear. I used a 35mm camera and then - with a breeze of technological change - switched to digital cameras - SLRs and recently mirrorless. I used to take pictures with prosumer compact cameras as well. I don't want to miss a shot, so I take pictures using mobile devices at times, cause I always have some at hand. I recently also started creating freestyle images with the use of unconventional digital techniques and generating fractals. On a daily basis I work hard at the Poznan University of Economics and Business, Poland. Being a full-time employee there doesn't leave sufficient time for what I love - PHOTOGRAPHY.
